Mission
Our mission is to provide comfortable and functional furniture, kitchenware, linens, bath items, and decor to individuals and families experiencing difficult life circumstances. We are here to improve the home living environment of orphaned and fostered children, veterans, widows and widowers, single parents with children, and those affected by poverty, homelessness, domestic violence, and hardships.
Vision
Our vision is that all individuals and families experiencing hardship and difficult life circumstances will:
have access to home furnishing that meets their specific home living needs;
enjoy an improved home living environment;
experience a better quality of life; receive renewed lives; and gain rest, recovery, and restored HOPE!
Hope By Design Fundraiser
Please help Hope By Design raise funds to help families transitioning from homelessness and shelters. Simply purchase a $20 Dave & Buster’s Power Card and 50% will be donated to HBD! The cards are the perfect gift for all ages and are good at any Dave & Buster’s location.
"I remember feeling excited and hopeless all at once when I got the keys to my new home. My then husband abandoned me, and I was pregnant, sleeping on an air mattress with my toddler beside me. I was just grateful to no longer be outside in the cold. Hope By Design saved us! I am now a community entrepreneur, after successfully completing Kennesaw State University's ACE (Aspiring Community Entrepreneur) program. I am a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), I am a Canine Companions Advocate (service dogs for the disabled) and most recently, I became a Respect Institute of Georgia Speaker. I have been stable in my home for many years with the support of Hope by Design. And I've been able to launch my own nonprofit organization, Comeback Kids."
